奧運來臨，似乎身邊所有的事情都要來應景。昨晚，我陪孔總參加了澳洲最大的投資銀行集團—麥格理資本（Macquarie Capital）主辦的聯誼晚會。麥格理邀請了澳洲本土最具代表性也是有史以來最出色的長距離游泳運動員Kieren Perkins擔任主禮嘉賓，同時還請到了前中國跳水奧運冠軍肖海亮。

Only three days to the opening of Beijing Olympic Games, almost everything linked itself to the event to reflect this fiesta fever. Australia’s largest investment bank-Macquarie Capital organized an evening function at China World Hotel. Mr. Kieren Perkins, regarded as the greatest distance swimmer in history and one of most dominating swimmers of all time, hosted the dinner and Mr. Xiao Hailiang, former Chinese two-time Olympic diving champion as guest.

晚會的名稱叫跳水晚宴，顧名思義主角就是整個澳大利亞國家跳水隊，隊員悉數到場，他們分別是：

The function was called Diving Dinner. Just as its name tells, the 2008 Australian Olympic Diving Team was the hero of the night. And They are as follow:

Briony Cole (synchronized diving 3m & 10m); Alexandra Croak (10m platform);

Matthew Helm (10m platform & synchronized diving 10m platform);

Matthew Mitcham (1m & 3m springboard and 10m platform);

Chantelle Newbery (3m springboard);

Robert Newbery (3m springboard, synchronized diving 10m platform and synchronized diving 3m springboard);

Scott Robertson (synchronized diving 3m springboard);

Sharleen Stratton (3m springboard & synchronized diving 3m springboard);

Melissa Wu (10m platform & synchronized diving 10m platform);

And their Chinese coach Mr. Hui Tong.

大家分別談了談自己對北京以及此次奧運會的期待，最後，主持人問童輝教練，在澳大利亞隊和中國隊較量的時候，他的心會向著誰？他說，比賽就是比賽，我為我的隊員加油。我自己想了一個答案那就是：

The Team members talked about their impression to Beijing and expectation for this Game. The last question raised to Coach Tong was “Which team you heart will beat for, China or Australia?” Mr. Tong said “Business is business. I will cheer up for my team.”

I thought an answer for that question, which is “I have a Chinese heart beating for an Australian dream”.

當我寫這些文字的時候，一個總統車隊緩緩抵達了我辦公室旁邊的五星級酒店，距離北京奧運開幕還有僅僅兩天。

When I wrote this blog, a presidential convoy arrived in our neibourghing five-star hotel. Beijing Olympic Games will open in only two days away.
