在新烏爾姆的日子總是快樂的。先是彼德和卡羅拉的新家帶給我現代、時尚、實用的感覺。全家以純潔的白色為主色調，搭配以各式各樣的蠟燭、裝飾畫和鮮花，真是讓人既清新又不失浪漫。設計上，巧妙地將廚臺、冰箱、洗碗機、咖啡機、垃圾桶、碗碟餐具以及功能各異的酒杯等“藏”在了櫃子裏。這樣既解決了視覺上的零亂感，又有效地將物品分門別類收拾好，真是一舉兩得阿。我的房間，空間得到了充分地利用而且洗手間和淋浴池都一應俱全，我很喜歡。

Days in Neu-Ulm were always happy. Peter & Carola's new stylish home gave me a fresh feeling. White color was dominantly used, matched with various kinds of candles, pictures and flowers. Kitchen staffs including cooking stove, refrigerator, coffee machine and so on were wisely hidden in large closets. Designing like this avoided a big mess and arranged everything in order. It is a great idea to attain two objectives in one move. My room, although not too big, was also very well-equipped, having restroom and shower. I like it very much. That's awesome.

Finishing unpacking, we came to Eva & Grandma's house. I lived there two years ago. I tried to collect my great memories. I still remember the day we watched the game of Germany vs Croatia, and also the happy hour we had in barbecue party for world cup final between France and Italy. It was a really wonderful summer.

這次同樣，一路上我都在記憶中搜尋當年的影子。真是開心，老外婆還坚持叫我的中文名字，我給了每個人一個擁抱。伊娃眼中泛着激動的淚光，她拿出一瓶香檳讓我開，這是很高的待遇了。二女兒達妮也回來了，在頻頻舉杯中大家談笑風生，晚餐隨即開始。典型的德國家庭式西餐，看得出伊娃的精心准備和良苦用心，我對她表達了最衷心的感謝。其实，我觉得现代社会往往过分夸大了民族、国家、肤色的差异而弱视了作为人基本的人生冷暖各种情感和善良的本性。

Grandma still called my Chinese name. I gave her a great hug. Eva nearly moved into tears. She passed me a bottle of champagne, asking me to open. It is a great honor, I know. Dani, the second daughter came back and we talked about last time and what happened in recent two years. Dinner was traditional German food, I can see the kind consideration and preparation. I expressed my sincere thanks and appreciation. Actually, Politicians always exaggerate the differences and conflicts in nations, race, and skin color. However, as people we are the same, sharing all kinds of feelings in life, happiness & bitter, jealousy & hatred, pride & prejudice . 

23日星期一的上午，在彼德公司的午餐会上我见到了以前的老朋友和新同事何乔娅。法律专业毕业的她会说中文，居然还是在四川大学学的。我们聊得很开心，她还记得火锅和些许四川方言，真是亲切啊！

In the morning of 23rd Monday, I met Claudia Hess. She was a law major and studied two-year Chinese in Sichuan University in Chengdu coincidently. We had a wonderful conversation, talking Sichuan spicy food and local dialect.

晚上，我和卡罗拉、伊娃和达妮去Kornhaus剧院听了场钢琴音乐会，演奏者是俄罗斯年轻的Nikolai Tokarev。1983年出生的他有着我们一样的激情，但多了一份对音乐理解的细腻。演奏的第二部分是我很欣赏的，一会儿激昂澎湃、一会儿又像个“小偷”蹑手蹑脚、悄无声息。也许是他还没有朗朗、李云迪那么的“商业化”，他还在为之而奋斗，正是这样你能看到他对音乐的那么热爱和执着。

At night, I went to Kornhaus to enjoy a piano concert perform by young Russian pianist Nikolai Tokarev (http://www.nikolaitokarew.de/en/biography.html). He was so great, using his whole heart and body to play. You can even hear his breath. I like his style, very simple and straight not commercial like others. You can tell how much he loved his music in such perseverance. That is also my ideal status, which I am trying to achieve. Having a Good Day.
