　　信不信由你，电邮确实是由奥巴马竞选总部发来的，而且有“巴拉克”的署名。不过，我却丝毫不为之所动，因为或许所有曾在奥巴马竞选官方网站上注册过的人，可能都会在同一天收到署有“巴拉克”名字的这封邮件。邮件时这样写的：“浩（连礼节性的称呼‘亲爱的’也省了），随后的6天将会是我们见过的最艰苦的6天，我需要你、且通过你尽可能多的选民的支持。捐款5元或者更多以便牢牢把握这最后努力的动力。这次竞选全由你掌控了。感谢你正在做的一切。巴拉克。”（英文原文是：Hao -- The next 6 days are going to be the toughest we've seen, and I need your support to reach as many voters as possible. 　　一天后，我又受到了奥巴马的来邮。这次虽然仍然省略了“亲爱的”，但话却多了，语言也比之前的那封更有了些“人情味”。中文翻译过来大意是这样的：“浩，在选举结果出来的时候，我想你与我在‘选举之夜’在一起。我们在芝加哥城内的格兰特公园，准备搞一个将有数以万计人参加的大活动。我们为在周日午夜前首次捐款的5个人，在房内预留了最佳座位。如果你被选中了，你可以携带你的同伴，我们会赞助机票和一晚酒店。在大活动之夜，你可上后台上来，且无论发生什么，在我们庆祝支持者帮我们走过了终点的时候，你都会得到靠近历史的前排座位。任何捐款都是有意义的---无论你拿出多少。用5元钱或更多的捐款来展示在关键时刻你的支持，而且你可以和我在‘选举之夜’在一起。(捐款邮址)这次改变的运动已经证明了普通美国人走在一起来实现非凡的事的力量。我期待在‘选举之夜’与你同在。感谢你，巴拉克。”（英文原文是： Hao --I want you to be there with me on Election Night when the results come in. 　　如果不是署名“巴拉克”，如果不是奥巴马动员捐款，完全有理由相信这两封电邮的内容充满了“同性恋”味道。

　　一天过后，奥巴马的夫人米歇尔.奥巴马、副总统候选人乔.拜登的内容大致相同的“催款”电邮纷纷踏至，让我这个寄居他乡的穷小子很是困惑不安。终于，我做了平生首次重大“涉外政治”决定，以斬除这挥之不去的烦恼：5美元，拿去吧！多了没有！

       但是，不到24小时，奥巴马的电邮又出现了。内容还是……钱！
