大约在2003年,我从网络搜索到一个电子刊物(http://ndeaa.jpl.nasa.gov/nasa-nde/newsltr/WW-EAP_Newsletter2-2.pdf),上面介绍了两位印度学者T. Patel和B. Mallick的研究情况,如下图所示,第4页,红色矩形边框是我后来加的,用来标记他们的发现内容。具体来讲,他们的发现有两点:一、吴有训的实验结果已经发现了“逆康普顿效应”。二、“逆康普顿效应”缺少一个理论解释。

他们的发现与我1990年的发现几乎一样。只是他们没有做出理论推导,而我在1990年就得到了现在论文《狭义相对论对弹性碰撞的应用》中第一部分的结果,那时的论文标题叫做《康普顿效应的更一般性解释》,由我的原子物理老师陈玲燕推荐到学校科技论文竞赛获得二等奖。只可惜后来因为工作原因,碾转迁徙,原始论文稿已经找不到了,但获奖证书还在。

这里我把我与这两位印度学者的交流情况公布出来。现在看来,感觉当时的我在很多方面还是很幼稚的,但我认为这是一个人的成长过程中所必然经历的阶段,不觉得奇怪,没有人天生就是伟大的学者。

1、我大约在2003年7月2日给这位印度学者T. Patel写了第一封信,内容如下:
Hi,how do you do,I hope to understand you. I know you  research
anti-Compton Effect,What I haved looked for is here:

"Peaks resembling anti-Compton like scattering have
already been found in Compton scattering experiment by Y. H. Woo [2].
Most probably due to lake of proper theory he could not identify these
peaks as anti-Compton peak. Using this discovery, the authors suggested
methods to develop X-Ray Frequency Multiplier."

About 1990 year, I have written a paper, the title is
The More General Explanation of Compton Effect ,
I try to give a proper theory  to interpret anti-Compton  peak  and
the middle peak (its wavelength has no change).

2、很快我收到了T. Patel的回信,回信显示的时间是2003年7月4日 18:42:
Dear Huang,
   Thank you for your mail.I am  glade to know that you have developed a
theory to interpreat Anti-Compton peak.We are working in physics
department of NIT,ROURKELA,ORISSA,INDIA.
  Working with a phillips X-ray diffractometer and using Bragg Brente
geomotry
we are getting very weak Anti-Compton peacks in Graphite and polymers.
    Will you kindly send the paper containing your theory related to
Anti-Compton peak,so that we can apply the peaks obtained by us ?

3、当时我还没有翻译成英文,于是回了下面这封信:
Dear Prof. T.Patel
I am  glade to know something of you. I'll send my paper to you after I check the English version.
Now I have only Chinese version. Please wait few days.
I want to know if we can cooperate and how we can cooperate.
I do'nt  know if  NIT is a institute just like MIT.
I'm Sorry I know little about INDIA, I hope I can know much more about your motherland.
How much do you know about Y. H. Woo and his experiment result?

4、在我翻译论文的期间,我收到了T. Patel学生的来信,来信显示的时间是Monday, July 14, 2003 2:15 PM:

Respected Prof. Huang
My best regards. I came to know about you and your work from my
guide Prof Patel of NIT Rourkela. Presently I'm at Institute of Physics,
Bhubaneswar. Really, It makes me very happy by knowing your work on theory
of anti-Compton effect. Could you please send me your papers on
anti-Compton scattering. Also I am interested to keep contact with you.

5、我给T. Patel的学生回了信:
Respected Prof. Patel and  my new friend  B. Mallick
I'm sorry my papers's English version hasn't finished now.
because I'm working on IT issues(AutoCAD), I'm  so busy
that I have to go on errands almost every week.
I have 3 great projects in Physics besides Compton  Effect,
but the God doesn't give me time.  I think I should work hard
much more. So I'll send my paper to you  tomorrow at the latest.

6、我把论文翻译成英文后,就发给了他们,论文标题为The More General Explanation of Compton Effect。其中我说我将把论文发到Nature,这是我的小聪明,为的是保护自己的发现优先权,防止别人把我的论文拿去发表。虽然后来Nature并没有发表我的论文。

7、然后收到了他们的回信,日期: 2003年7月24日 13:20
Dr.Penghui Huang,
Thankyou for sending an informative paper in conection with our research
work. The work is very fundamental in nature just like C.V. Raman effect
or Anti-Stokes line.We are analysing your paper. Let us work together
utilising  the facilities available in your Inst. and our Inst. So that we
become successful in future.

8、我回了信,这好象是我们之间的最后一封信,其后我好象还去信问过他们的实验情况,但似乎没有收到回信。后来我也因为忙于工作,就再也没有跟他们交流了。

Thank you for your appraisement. I'm sorry I'm so busy to return late.
I know C.V. Raman is a Great Indian Physicist.  I hope we can keep
friendly relations each other, just like Raman and Compton. The only
difficult for me is language. I'll introduce myself later, and I hope to
know you much more.
How about your experiments? Do you find any questions in my paper?
If there is a chance that I hope  I can work together with you.

9、我到现在仍然从内心非常尊敬这位印度的学者T.Patel,与他的交流,曾经给我带来很大的鼓舞,这是在我的成长过程中值得一说的好事。
我一直认为:科学研究最重要的就是交流,学术成就都是交流出来的。或许有人认为介绍别人的发现或博客很傻,但是中国那么多自以为聪明的人学物理,还真就没有人做出成就来。我需要更多的交流,因此也会介绍别人的发现或博客,这也是我至今不能原谅南京大学物理系教量子力学和相对论的某博导删除我想交流帖子的原因,我不能原谅一个做到博导的人还这么不明事理。
