MARGAO: South Goa consumer court on Friday issued a show cause notice to the Margao municipal council with regards to a petition filed by Bailancho Ekvott against the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) for their failure to provide the city development plan (CDP) for public inspection.

The petition by Montreal Canadiens Bailancho Ekvott convenor Auda Viegas which will come up for hearing on Monday states that the MMC had assured the citizens that the CDP would be displayed for public viewing for 15 days.
