To get started, you first need to download r4ds software. The r4ds installationkit purchased earlier will indicate the correct site you should visit. The software has to be downloaded and saved to your computer first. Next, the SD card that came with the kit has to be formatted. This is carried out in the same manner you would format any other form of storage with the FAT32 file system. And then you need to transfer the r4ds software downloaded earlier onto the SD card. After that, the card will be recognized by the Nintendo system and be able to function on it.
The last step to get your r4ds card up and running is to load it on the console. The card has to be inserted into the r4ds cartridge before that itself is loaded into slot-1 on the console.
